Our first night of worship! How powerful!!!
Meeting our work crew. This is crew 1 with Ben, Zach, and Angie. They are working with others from Albuquerque.

Day 2 - Travel to Crownpoint, New Mexico

Day 2
We passed through Roswell, New Mexico. It was so much fun because our van broke down because it had a bubble in the tire. It was so funny that our whole church group went in every gas station! When we got to the high school for the project, our churches split into crews and I met so many good people. Our church was still acting like a family and didn’t ever split.

Day 2
Today was very interesting. I surprisingly became an alien expert! (But, hey, expect the unexpected, right?!) Once the van started working again, we had a lot of fun in the vans just talking and seeing the gorgeous views. All in all, today was really good!

Day 2
Today when the van had tire trouble, everone felt disappointed and a little discouraged. I was a little sad like everyone else, but I chose to look at it a little differently. I told the crew that the reason we had trouble was because God wanted to keep us protected from something much worse that could have happened down the road. After all, the Lord works in mysterious ways.

A Few More Pics From Our Day

On Top of the World...
Lunch Stop! Yum Yum!

Thanks for allowing us to go on this exciting trip!

Day 1 - Travel to Carlsbad, New Mexico

Today was the start of out journey to Crownpoint, New Mexico. The car ride here, i never thought it would end! On the way, we all had a lot of time to think about the reason we are on this journey to begin with. I know I thought about what I can do personally to change my life and the people that we are helping. Such as being unselfish and giving rather than recieving. I cannot wait to see what the rest of this journey has in store! ( :

Wow, the first day has been extrordinary. On the way there, it was sooo much fun. We ran into a hail storm the size of golf balls. I'm sure my dad would have enjoyed that. We also saw bats come out and fly away, which was pretty cool. Can't wait for what's coming the next following days! :D

Today has brought up soooo many memories from the mission trip last year, and we most definatly relived them. I'm so very excited for the rest of the trip! AHHH!

Wow, another amazing first day to start off our trip that I am pretty sure has something amazing in store for us every day. Ranging from rehashing memories from past mission trips or youth groups, to singing in the van, to sitting through a hail storm with golf ball sized hail, even to watching over a million bats fly out of a cave and look at the planets through telescopes!! It was definately a fun filled and exciting day. A few of us even conquered some fears or worries and climbed onto the roof and I even walked across at the rest stop we stopped at to eat. I am eager to see just what other adventures God has in store for us throughout this trip. This trip is bringing old friends back together, and forming new friendships as the time passes. Can't wait for day 2!
